The Houston Police Department has announced that Houston’s annual National Night Out event will take place on Tuesday, October 5 (6-8 pm*).
The National Night Out event is a great opportunity to socialize with neighbors and meet with local law enforcement officers. Houston’s has traditionally been held in October, when it is cooler.
Various Tanglewilde neighbors are working to organize this year’s neighborhood event (ideally combining with Westmont). Two years ago, local realtor Larry Mercer sponsored a really nice one in Tanglewilde.
