Volunteers in Tanglewilde (and Westmont) maintain a neighborhood watch program: Citizen Patrol (CP).
More information about the program can be found on the Houston Police Department’s website. Here is a short video explaining what Citizens Patrol volunteers do as they regularly patrol our streets.
If you are interested in volunteering for the CP, you will need to submit an application and pass a background check. If your application is approved by the Houston Police Department, the next step will be a short training conducted by HPD. Then you’ll be set to help deter crime in the neighborhood.
